Work with real examples and explicit acceptance checks. Keep the responsible person involved, and make failures visible rather than treating a demonstration as proof that every case works.

Your team should know how to use the result, check it and stop it. Agree any support separately and compare the outcome with the original baseline.

What is agreed before work starts?
The scope, delivery arrangements, acceptance checks, commercial terms and account ownership. Any ongoing support is agreed explicitly. A page describing a past project is evidence of that work, not a guarantee of the same timing or outcome for a new project.
