Blake McCord, OFO Collective’s founder, has a passion and excitement about these technologies, but also a strong concern about the rate of acceleration. Given his interest and concern in the existential risk, Blake decided to start OFO Collective Pty. Ltd.

OFO Collective is about giving people the knowledge and access to utilise these technologies. AI will undoubtably will replace jobs. However, Blake and the OFO team view the people most at risk, are those who choose not to incorporate these technologies into their everyday lives.

At the time of writing (May 2025), 61,000 jobs across the tech industry have been cut due to partially due to “the rapid deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) in core business operations” (Times of India, 2025).

Humans are irreplaceable — but unfortunately, jobs can be. Fighting against this change is a losing battle. AI and automation technologies will never cease to evolve, and humans must adapt.

OFO Collective, at its core, is an effort to unite humans with the fast-paced movement of intelligent technologies.

Put simply: the designer who understands how to use AI will outperform the one who doesn’t. The receptionist who works with AI will become indispensable. And the real-estate agent who takes control over their admin, will get the most listings. When humans combine their creativity, judgment, and experience with intelligent tools, they don’t just become more efficient — they become irreplaceable.

Some may resist this claim, but let us ask you:
Would you use an accountant who doesn’t use the internet?
Would you go to a hospital that only used the library to access information?
Would you hire a cleaner who you could only contact by mail?
